The Fashion Award Organisers…
- Fashion Awards Australia is a (not-for profit) fashion and design based event that is run and organised by Heather Marcus (Director), a committee consisting of designers Mrs Judy Bond, Mrs Cecelia Sartori, accountants Mr Leon Vilshansky (Green & Sternfeld), Corporate sponsor Ms Chris MacGregor (McGregor By Road), two community members Ms Pauline Walsh and Mrs Margaret Sutton
- All committee members and the director are volunteers and do not receive fees.
- Fashion Award organisers are committed to ensuring a superior standard of programming, promotion and production at a minimum cost to the student entrants and a maximum benefit to its supporters.
- Fashion Award Organisers are committed to creating a platform for sponsors to participate in this commercially beneficial fashion event of ongoing significance.

The Audience and Entrants…
- Fashion Awards Australia consistently attracts an audience at the Gala Presentation Evening in excess of 650 parents, students and visitors.
- Since it's inception, the awards have grown from being a local event, to state-wide (Victoria), to it's current status of attracting student, amateur and top professional designers from all around Australia and overseas.

Judging and Presentation...
- Fashion Awards Australia provides an extensive program of categories for the award entrants.
- The adjudication of the garments is extended over two days.
